Having two NAR designations, Green and SRES® , I have specialized training and knowledge about working with older active adults and seniors, as well as home buyers and sellers interested in finding home with green features.  

What makes a green home?  Some examples are homes with highly rated energy efficient appliances, air tight seals around doors and windows, sustainable or recycled building materials, renewable energy and water conservation systems, etc.  Any number of quantifiable features that prioritize sustainable building materials and high energy efficiency of a house to lower environment impact are considered green features.

Also, working with seniors and older active adults are particular interests of mine.  Being a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®), I have specialized knowledge and experience coordinating with older adults looking at various living options.  It could be a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) or any number of other options available for seniors and older active adults often desiring a change from their current living arrangement or situation.  Also, I have familiarity with several senior communities available in the Richmond, VA, area and can help educate homebuyers and sellers about some of these living options to explore for themselves.

I am a proud U.S. Navy Veteran. I trained as a cryptologic technician technical. I helped support the U.S. Naval fleet with strategic military intelligence during the Gulf War era.  Post-training, my two duty stations were located in Guam and Diego Garcia. Although my military service was located on remote island stations instead of ships or submarines, my team and I still were an essential support component of the U.S. Navy.
